This past weekend my beautiful wife and I went to Charlotte to celebrate our six month anniversary, but really we went just because we wanted to get away with just the two of us. We haven’t done that since the honeymoon…and on top of that we just like to look for reasons to celebrate. The reason we went to Charlotte was to go see the Broadway musical, “Wicked.” My friends Lee and Dustin told me all about how amazing it was, so we decided to try it out. I really didn’t think it would be anything special. I mean, how much fun can a musical be? But I thought Kristi would really like it so we went…

I was so wrong. I loved every minute–it was more fun than I even thought possible. Totally worth the money we spent. I’ve been listening to the soundtrack ever since we left the show, and I basically have it memorized already. I sing the songs all day long. It is just so sick. You need to spend the money and go see it…it is playing in Charlotte through this weekend.
